Inter started off at a high pace. Only after 6 minutes Go-Go-Goran Pandev scored after some fumbling in Cagliari defence. Second goal came in the 20th minutes by a header by Walter Samuel. The corner was taken by Maicon. Cagliari did score in the 34th but it was wrongly disallowed for an offside call by the linesman. The third and final goal came from Militos right foot in the 2nd minute of the second half after an amazing cooperation between the attacking trio; Milito, Pandev and Etoó.
McDonald “Big-Mac” Mariga made his debut appearance in Serie A, but didnt have time to put his mark on the game.
Inter is at its best for many years at the moment! The Blues at Stanford Bridge should shake in fear of the italian black-and-blue. If not, they really should!
